Central Development Corporation (CDC) is a not for profit community economic development organization that strives to foster a strong economic environment in Central PEI; one that is supportive of businesses while nurturing community growth. CDC focuses on developing partnerships, supporting new and expanding businesses, and growing vibrant communities. The Corporation if guided by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Rural Action Centre – Business Resources

Central Development Corporation manages the Central Bedeque Rural Action Centre providing a wide range of assistance to existing and potential entrepreneurs and community organizations including:

  • Counselling and consultation, usually in the form of advice and referral to available funding and support programs.
  • Offering business education workshops and training.
  • Coordinating Youth Entrepreneur programs to educate youth in business practices of today.
  • A one-stop shop approach for business and community organizations to access resource materials.
